How payment works

The customer pays through Paystack after eligibility and availability checks. The system stores the payment reference, transaction status, booking status, commission record, and payout status for reconciliation.

Platform commission

FMD Workers earns commission from completed jobs. Commission can be global, service-specific, or fixed-fee based, and finance reports keep payment and payout records ready for review.

Cancellation and refund decisions depend on the booking stage, payment status, worker assignment, dispute status, and platform policy. Refund requests are reviewed through admin workflows.
